Only if you have a Repayment Mortgage and want insurance cover for it.
What is the Difference Between Critical Illness Insurance and Terminal Illness insurance?
Critical Illness Insurance is much more comprehensive than Terminal Illness cover.
Should the cover be on joint lives or separate lives?
It may be better to buy separate policies.
Full details of how to complain will be found within the booklet issued to you by your insurer under “complaints procedure”. This booklet will have been sent to you when you applied for your insurance.

The life insurance company will consider your complaint and to reply to you in writing explaining the results of their investigations.

If you are unhappy with their reply and you are financially worse off as a result of your transaction with the insurance company, you can write to the Financial Ombudsman Service. They will complete another independent investigation. The results of this investigation and their recommendations, including any compensation, are usually binding on both you and the insurance company.
