Will the phone calls and threatening letters from my creditors stop?

Yes, they will stop. When you become bankrupt you have to complete a detailed statement of your affairs which includes a full list of all of your creditors, both secured and unsecured. The Receiver will then write to each of those creditors informing them that you are bankrupt and thereafter all contacts about those monies are directed to the Receiver.

The only contacts you get will be from the Official Receiver or the Insolvency Practitioner appointed by the Official Receiver.
