How much will I have to pay each month?

The Official Receiver may act as your Trustee in Bankruptcy or they may appoint an outside Insolvency Practitioner to do the job.

Your Trustee in Bankruptcy will assess your income and your debts. He/she will then decide how much money you need to live on and all your surplus income must be paid to the Trustee.

The Trustee will probably review your monthly payments after six months and may adjust them upwards or downwards. If you object to the amount of money the Trustee is demanding each month, the Trustee must apply to the Courts and a Judge will decide how much you must pay.
