Would you be better off getting annual travel insurance?

If you do a lot of travelling and envisage taking several trips in the next 12 months, it’s well worth considering annual travel insurance.

With annual policies you pay one fee, which covers you for all the trips you make in the coming year. This not only saves you money but also saves you the hassle of arranging insurance each time you travel.

Just to give you an idea, which would work out better value for you - annual travel insurance costs around 2.5 times more than single trip.

However, as with all travel policies, you are normally only covered for 90 days at a time. Also standard annual travel insurance may not cover you for hazardous activities. So if one of the trips that you are planning is a winter sports holiday, you may need to consider other options.
