Standard cover - restorative treatment - e.g. fillings, extractions; remedial care - e.g. root treatments, repairs to crowns, bridges or dentures, anaesthetics, periodontal care; major restorative care - e.g. new crowns, bridges and dentures; orthodontics and reimbursement of NHS treatment charges.

Comprehensive cover - as above, with the addition of having routine medical examinations included.

Emergency dental treatment is covered by the NHS. However any extra treatment arising from the emergency to bring your teeth back to their former health will be covered by your dental insurance.
